Engagement season is in full swing (anyone else have a timeline chock-full of sparkles over the holidays?) and that means that weddings how season isn’t far behind.
Toronto is a hotbed of wedding inspiration, with shows to suit every budget and taste. While I’m a few years past planning a wedding, lots of my friends are just getting started which means I have a fantastic excuse to attend year after year.
If you’re recently engaged – or think 2018 might be your year! – or just plain like weddings, here are my top picks for wedding shows in Toronto.
Boutique Picks
If you’re looking for a show that is more intimate and chock-full of inspiration, WedLuxe and The Wedding Co. Show are your best bets. One-on-one interaction with vendors, interactive experience and a luxe environment set these shows above the rest. Plus, you’ll get to check out two amazing Toronto wedding venues!
WedLuxe Wedding Show
The ultimate – and only – luxury wedding show in Toronto, the WedLuxe Wedding Show is one of my favourite events to attend each year. And, thanks to this blog, I’ve been able to attend every year since I got engaged! If you’re attending the show, make sure to send me a note so we can keep an eye out for one another. What to expect: A feast for the senses and every one of your wildest wedding dreams right at your fingertips. WedLuxe features a number of interactive experiences, including a gift bar and luxurious food sampling, and the ability to interact with more than 100 of the city’s top wedding vendors.
When: Sunday, January 14 from 9AM – 5PM

The Wedding Co. Market
What to expect: If you’re looking for local, “one-of-a-kind” vendors and a more intimate show, The Wedding Co. Market is the perfect way to inspire your day. With over 70 local vendors to interact with, you’re sure to meet just the right vendors to make your day incredible.
When: Sunday, February 25 2018 from 10AM – 5PM
Where: Artscape Wychwood Barns

The Big Ones
If you’re looking to get all of your wedding organizing done in one place, there’s a good chance you can achieve that by attending one of the city’s massive wedding shows. A word to the wise: these can be a bit overwhelming, so be sure to check your coat and bring an even-keeled friend.
Canada’s Bridal Show
What to expect: Canada’s largest and oldest bridal show. Featuring hundreds of vendors, giveaways and fashion shows, it’s a one-stop-shop for meeting and securing all of your wedding vendors at any budget. If you attend, make sure to keep an eye out for my wedding florists (and great friends) Gatto Flowers. Tell them I sent you! 🙂

National Bridal Show
What to expect: hundreds of exhibitors, with something for every one. Many vendors have had special show deals or contests in the past. Full details are not yet available.
When: February 2 – 4, 2018
Where: Enercare Centre
Buy Tickets: $18 – the first 3,000 brides-to-be who register online are free! Register online / buy tickets.
Toronto’s Bridal Show
What to expect:
Meet hundreds of vendors and participate in prize giveaways. The event often features fashion shows and bridal gowns.
