The summer of concerts has officially come to an end, but it went out with a bang! A few weeks ago, Stella and I got to see Ed Sheeran (!!!) in concert, courtesy of Amex Canada.
You may have heard of the American Express’ Front Of The Line program before. Growing up, I used my dad’s Amex Card on more than one occasion to get early access to great seats for concerts (don’t worry, I had permission!). The Front Of The Line program has been around for over 25 years and continues to unlock memorable moments for half a million Canadians every year, and in 2015, Amex will help over 400k fans rock out to their favourite artist
Speaking of artists…back to the concert. I’m a casual Ed Sheeran fan – Stella and I last saw him open for Taylor Swift and following the concert, I had Lego House on repeat for weeks afterwards.
This time, we had a completely unobstructed view of the stage from our sweet seats. I’ll admit – I usually sit in a different section at the ACC but once we got there I was sold! I may have found my new favourite concert seating. Popcorn and other delicious treats in hand, we obsessed through Christina Perri’s opening set and found ourselves knowing more songs than we thought when Ed Sheeran took the stage.
I was stunned by how Ed Sheeran was able to command an ENTIRE STAGE ALONE for the entire concert! Seriously. Just the dude, his guitar and a cool video backdrop. We were captivated.
There’s nothing I love more than an amazing experience – especially when it’s shared with my perennial plus-one, Stella. We always have a good time! Our best moments come through experiences that are designed for us. No matter what your taste or style, Amex has an experience for you. [disclaim]Amex Canada provided us with tickets to the concert in exchange for a post. We had the best time and have always loved the Front of the Line program, so that’s why I’m sharing it with you today![/disclaim]
