Last weekend, Chloe and I headed to the PetSmart at Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga to participate in their National Ice Cream Day celebrations! As I’ve mentioned, Chloe loves anything that even slightly resembles human food, so this dog-friendly, soy-based, peanut butter-flavoured scoop of Treat Time was right up her alley.
But first, shopping…
Like mama, like pup…right? Chloe took some time to peruse the Martha Stewart Pets line that’s carried at PetSmart, naturally. I recently picked up some new toys and a new bowl set for her to keep at the condo from this line so I’m not surprised that she gravitated towards it.
The PetsHotel and daycare area was really busy when we arrived, full of excited pups hanging out in the playground. Chloe loves humans but is way more selective with her puppy friends, so she was a bit freaked out by the whole ordeal and wouldn’t touch her frozen treat. SHOCKING. Once we took her for a little browse around the store and met up with our friends Amanda (my MOH!) & Ryan, she relaxed enough to wolf it down.
Delicious! Treat Time is available as an add-on for pets staying at the PetsHotel and is a fun way to give your pup some extra comfort while they’re away from home. For Chloe, it was a delicious afternoon treat on what was probably the hottest day of the summer so far. Seriously – it felt like we were swimming instead of walking through all that humidity.
