Did your Valentine’s Day not go as planned? We’ve all been there. Whether something went awry, didn’t happen at all or you stayed home to wallow, we’ve all got a story of a Valentine’s Day Fail.
My favourite cute-fail? My former roomie had been dating her now-longterm boyfriend for only a few weeks when her Valentine’s Day flowers arrived (hooray!) along with a teddy bear (awww) who was hugging an I Love You cushion (OMG). This strongly-worded bear has now become quite the inside joke, but you can imagine the freak-out that happened!
I can’t say I’ve ever had a truly horrible Valentine’s Day, although there have been more than a few guys in my life who have dropped the ball on the ‘big day’. Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a do-over?
I’ve partnered with Durex to give you just that: a do-over. Tell me about your best or worst Valentine’s Day for a chance to let the Durex #SavesTheDate fairy godmothers turn your dud date into a wow. How are we going to do that? Simple. We’re going to give you $150 to go on the date of your dreams plus a prize pack of Durex goodies worth $100 should your improved evening go really really well.
What could you do with $150? I would visit Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada for a romantic stroll in the fishy tunnel of love then head to a cozy nearby dinner spot – think e11even or Mirto for a bite over a bottle of wine. Here are a few other options from my Twitter followers:
