I can guarantee my Saturday was cooler than yours.
Although I’ve lived in Toronto my entire life, I’ve never been to a concert at Yonge Dundas Square. Honestly. On Saturday, I was invited by Ben & Jerry’s Canada to join the #ScoopMoovement by climbing onboard the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck to scoop some ice cream! I also got the chance to check out Hollerado as they played NXNE (another first).
The team from Ben & Jerry’s handed me an amazing cow-printed apron and sweet wayfarer-style sunglasses (the lenses are made by the same company that does Burberry’s!) and gave me a mini-lesson in scooping.
I chose the chocolate chip cookie dough flavour – yum! I also heard from the Ben & Jerry’s team that new flavours may soon be making their way to Canada, although they couldn’t disclose which ones. I’ll be waiting!
Isn’t my boyfriend a great sport? Sometimes dragging him to a ‘blogger thing’ is a hard sell, but somehow the promise of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream sweetened the deal. Thanks so much to the team at Ogilvy for setting this up!
