The ladies behind my most favourite Toronto pastry shop – and our gorgeous wedding cake! – are releasing their first cookbook this week. Pop on by their shops to buy the book before it’s released and get it signed by Allyson and Sarah. And clear your calendar – if you’re anything like me, you’ll be baking away the rest of the weekend!
The Trunk Show: Locks & Mane Pop-Up with Coco Rocha
Meet supermodel Coco Rocha and get the most luscious mane in one fell swoop when you visit the Locks & Mane pop-up at Hudson’s Bay CF Sherway Gardens location. The luxury hair extension bar will offer complimentary colour matching, hair extension cut/blending and dry styling from October 1 – 8. If you happen to stop by on Saturday (Oct. 1) from 11 AM – 1PM, you’ll have the opportunity to meet & greet with fashion designer + model Coco Rocha.
Tonic Blooms x Kit and Ace DIY Succulent Bar
Are you as obsessed with succulents as I am? Head on over to Kit and Ace on Bloor for Tonic Blooms’ pop-up DIY Succulent Bar! You’ll be able to make your own planter with the available succulents and vessels or even purchase one of Tonic Blooms’ designs. They’d make the perfect Thanksgiving hostess gift but would be equally as cute on your bedside table or desk if you can’t bear to give them away. Prices range from $15 – 30. Kit and Ace, 102 Bloor St. W., 10 – 5PM on Saturday, October 1.
