Hello, Monday! While you wait for your caffeine to kick in, I’ve got a little round-up of some of my favourite links from the last little while for you. I’m a voracious reader and internetter, so I often come across some great reads. I’ve shared a few of my favourites – plus asked for your help on my latest mission – below!
Confession: I have the world’s worst feet. The kind that make pedicurists at The Four Seasons ask if it’s your first pedicure ever (really). So I’m all about the at-home maintenance. I’m super pumped to give these 3 at-home pedicure treatments a try. And maybe I can pop in for a 2-hour pedi the next time I’m in NYC!
I’m a photobooth fiend so the idea of taking pics of friends after 1, 2 & 3 glasses of wine really appeals to me. But let’s be honest – no one stops at three glasses. We have plans to partake in these wine-fueled portraits during our next girls’ night. I’d promise to show you…but that won’t happen.

Sometimes I feel like other bloggers are after my own heart. Over the weekend, Beauty Editor wrote about whether we can still trust beauty bloggers. If you’ve been following along for awhile, you’ll know that I can’t help but have a million opinions on disclosure and authenticity in the blogosphere – and social media in general. Michelle is one of my favourite beauty blogs to follow personally and I love how candid she’s being about how she makes money. Read it! Love it. Share it.
It’s no secret I love spendy investment items. For many 20-somethings, it can seem impossible to achieve, but this 12-step spending strategy for your best closet from The Coveteur feels anything but insurmountable. It really closely mirrors how I choose to spend my money. Plus, you’ll never regret saving for Chanel.
This is a long read but it’s incredibly interesting for anyone who participates online. The couple from Young House Love quit their online presence seemingly cold turkey and this piece is a very telling explanation about why they escaped the internet. When you share online, people think they know everything about you…even if what you’re sharing is just a fraction of your life. I know I struggle with many of the things mentioned here – and will struggle even moreso once we have children.
Spotify doesn’t work consistently in our offices (I work for a bank so lots of things are blocked), so I’ve recently turned to YouTube. This means I’ve constantly got a video from RachhLoves or KathleenLights on in the background, but one cannot survive on beauty/lifestyle vlogs alone. I’ve also been listening to Megan Davies‘ covers and Kodaline non-stop. Who are your favourite YouTubers? I’d love to add them to my watch list!
Bonus: The Backstreet Boys are going to be in VEGAS!! Yes, I’m already planning my trip (and a double-header featuring Britney).
That’s all for now! Let me know if you’d like to see more of these catch-ups and make sure to leave your favourite YouTubers in the comments so I can have them on in the background at work.
