Weekly Enabler Report

I’ve been a naughty blogger, but it’s been for good reason – promise. There hasn’t been an evening this week where I’ve been home – I’ve pretty much been on the go since last Friday! Over the weekend, I participated in a shoot for Fashion Weekly’s September issue cover – you can see a sneak peek of my “lifestyle blogger” segment below – with four fabulous blogger ladies and then went to stuff my face at Ribfest. It’s all about balance, friends. Two of this week’s picks are c/o preparing for that segment and I have a feeling you’ll love them as much as I do.

Pink Tartan Boucle Skirt

Pink Tartan Boucle A Line Skirt fall pieces

When tasked with styling an outfit that’s very “me”, I knew I’d need something from Pink Tartan. Pink Tartan is home to a vast array of feminine, flattering and timeless pieces, so it should come as no surprise that so much of my closet is comprised of the line! I found the perfect “Steph” piece in the form of this blush pink boucle A-line skirt. The weighty fabric makes it perfect for fall but the blush shade is a promise I’ll wear it during the clammy days of spring. The only thing that makes me sad about this skirt is that it doesn’t have a matching jaunty little jacket to go with it $295, Pink Tartan stores, online, & Holt Renfrew.

Lush Mask of Magnaminty

Lush Mask of Magnaminty Review

I’ve rekindled my love for this deliciously minty mask from Lush in the last few weeks. Perfect for cooling your skin after a day in the heat or when you need a bit of a pick-me up, Lush’s Mask of Magnaminty is your ticket to tingly-clean skin. No matter you skin type, this mask helps to pull debris from your pores and exfoliates as you wash it off. China clay & fresh peppermint clean your pores while aduki beans exfoliate and vanilla absolute & honey  sooth & calm. I use it at minimum weekly but sometimes more since my skin gets oily and sometimes a bit angry in the summer. Suggested pairing: any song from Wicked – this mask gives you that Elphaba look! $25 for 315g in stores & online

Nine West Martina Pump

Leopard Print Martina Pumps - Nine West

Would you believe I didn’t have a pair of leopard print pumps until last week? Near blasphemy, I know. I’ve bought leopard print pumps in the past but have always returned them – I love heels but I love being comfortable more. I’m always on the hunt and after scouring the latest fall offerings online I settled on this pair. These Martina pumps from Nine West are affordable and comfortable thanks to their modest-but-still-sexy heel height and padded insole. $120, Nine West stores & online.

CND SolarOil

CND Solar Oil Review - Me & T Studio Dylan

My dry cuticles are well chronicled on this blog, but I always feel pangs of shame when someone new points them out. I was gently chastised by Me & T Studio‘s Dylan when he performed his magic on my nails for my birthday and left with a prescription from him to buy some CND SolarOil, stat! I dutifully complied and have found myself addicted to this mix of jojoba & sweet almond oil. Not only do my cutlcles look WAY better than before – they also smell divine. Seriously – if I could slather my body in SolarOil I would. As an aside, how fab are my nails? It’s been a few weeks and I’m still obsessed with the gorgeous blush pink with gold glitter fade and a full-on glitter accent nail with chevron Dylan crafted on my tips. Oh Joy for Target

Oh Joy for Target fall collection

I seriously considered not including this news in this round-up purely out of selfishness. Oh Joy!’s third installment for Target launches on Sunday and, as per usual, I’ll be making a pilgrimage to my local Target(s) to pick it up. This latest collection includes ceramic items (!) like the adorable gold striped pitcher above and a pie plate, plus a spate of party paper including napkins, plates, cups & decor items. If you see me on Sunday, don’t get in my way 😉

Which of these items are you craving?
