Weekly Enabler Report

It’s been the perfect week to cozy up at home with a good book and paint your nails, oh, three or four times. At least that’s what I did. Our little kitten had a rough go at it this week so we’ve been spending a lot of time with her and managing her care. Now that she’s on the road to recovery, we can both breathe a little easier. This week’s picks have been collected over the last little while and they’re just wonderful. I think you’ll agree once you give them a try.

Stephanie Fusco Weekly Enabler Report April 2016

Lauren Conrad Celebrate

is a must-have for anyone who, like me, subscribes to the gospel of Lauren Conrad. Beautifully put together, the book covers many aspects party planning and prep from one of my favourite lifestyle inspirations. The tips aren’t groundbreaking but the photos are beautiful and you’ll get a peek in to LC’s life – including her bridal shower! It’s the perfect flip-through to devour on a rainy Sunday afternoon…and is sure to inspire many a celebration.

Lauren Conrad Celebrate Review - Weekly Enabler Report OPI Soft Shades 2016 - Swatch & Review - Stephanie Fusco

OPI SoftShades Pastels

is the type of spring collection that draws oohs and ahhs. The selection of pastels is just so picture-perfect and manages to make some tricky colours – green! blue! yellow! – suddenly easier to wear. I Am What I Amethyst, a stunning periwinkle blue shade that reminds me of my favourite Crayola, is an absolute must-have for spring. It’s work-appropriate – yes, even if you work at a financial institution like I do. Magic! Other favourites include Stop It, I’m Blushing!, a peachy pink, and It’s In The Cloud, a creamy white that is way chicer (and more wearable) than the usual stark summer white. Run, don’t walk – my favourite is already sold out in many locations! A bit of fair warning: these shades are light and, by definition, tricky to apply. Be patient with them, though! It’s worth it.

BIte Beauty Amuse Bouche Review - Stephanie Fusco

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche

lipstick range has 34 gorgeous hues that I can’t wait to collect. During a casual Friday night shop at Sephora with my girlfriend Lauren, we both cooed over the revamped display and it took a lot of willpower to only leave with one – Sorbet. It’s billed as a juicy watermelon shade but pulls more on the peachy side for me. This feels creamy and comfortable on the lips yet lasts for hours and goes on in a single swipe. Sephora is currently having their 15% off sale, so you can bet I’ll be picking up another few. I’ve got my eye on Gin Fizz, at the very least! Bonus: they’re made right here in Toronto in small batches.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

is an oldie but a goodie. I love rediscovering old favourites and this was one of my best re-finds yet. This minty stain is glossy upon application and wears down – hours later – to a beautiful stain so you’re never without colour. This held up to the Honest Ed’s sign sale this weekend and lunch at Tre Mari Bakery afterwards! My everyday shade is Honey, a mauve-y my-lips-but-better shade.

H & M Home Toronto - home decor - chevron towels

H&M Chevron Guest Towels

were too cute to pass up at the re-opening bash a few weeks ago. So cute, in fact, that I picked up two sets of these chevron terry guest towels. And so cute that I refuse to put them in our guest bath and instead keep them for personal use. They’re the perfect amount of scrubby and absorbent and the chevron pattern upgrades a product that usually doesn’t get much attention. At $6.99 for two, it’s a deal I’ll likely partake in again sometime soon.

That’s all for this week! What’s tickling your fancy? xo
