Weekly Enabler Report

Guys – it’s birthday week! I’m fairly obsessed with my special day, so apologies in advance for being obnoxious this week. It’s my champagne birthday this weekend (the 26th) and I’ve taken Friday off for a mani/pedi at Me & T Studio before dashing off to a friend’s cottage with a big group for double the birthday celebrations.

This week’s enabler report is full of pretty little things and I have a feeling you’re going to love them as much as I do. Thank you to everyone who entered last week’s Weekly Enabler Report giveaway! I’ve chosen the lucky winner – make sure to check if it’s you! This was the first time I’ve put together a giveaway based on the report – it came together in the 11th hour after I’d already written the post and I’m so lucky to have such great partners in the brands.

Gold Foil Pillows by Caitlin Wilson Textiles

Caitlin Wilson Textiles Gold Foil Pillows Indigo

I first spotted these pillows at the Indigo Fall Preview a few months ago and have been waiting not-so-patiently for their arrival. The high-quality cotton canvas pillows with gold foil accents measure 20×20 inches and I don’t need to tell you why they’re awesome. The only problem you might have is deciding which you absolutely need to have…and justifying the price. At almost $80 each, they’re a bit of a stretch in terms of pillows but as far as forays into home decor go they’re an attainable stretch that’ll give you lots of design bang for your buck. I’m currently chatting with my shared-brain girlfriend Stella about which we’re going to buy. It’s looking like one of each…at least.

Designy Temporary Tattoos by Tattly

Rifle Paper Co Tattly

Confession: I’ve always wanted a tattoo but my fears of permanence and also general fear of needles/pain have always prevented me from getting one. I’d been following Tattly on Instagram for awhile, but I finally made the decision to purchase when I saw their collaboration with one of my favourite stationery designers, Rifle Paper Co.. The tattoos have been a great fake-out for my friends – more than a few have thought they were real! – and they’re a fun way to play around with body art. Each Tattly is $5 for a set of two and they last from 3-5 days with proper care. I’ve got my eye on Rifle Paper Co.’s latest gold foil Tattly

Panache Page Floral Bandeau + Shan Ruched Bottom Bikini

Panache Page Floral BandeauShan Ruched Bikini Bottom

My birthday is coming up weekend – I’ll be 26 on the 26! – and to celebrate we’re heading up to the cottage with a bunch of friends. A beachy cottage necessitates new bathers so I headed to Melmira Bra & Swimsuits to grab a few new ones. I really wanted a retro-style bikini and ended up with this mix & match from Panache & Shan. The bandeau top comes with straps and the ruched bottoms are higher-waisted on me which gives the suit a gorgeous retro look. I can’t wait to wear it on the beach while lounging on our new Hudson’s Bay Chunky Stripe beach towels I purchased for the occasion! If you’re on the hunt for a bathing suit (or bra), head over to Melmira for great service and selection – especially if you’re a specialty size like I am.

Kate Spade Hello Darling Correspondence Set

Kate Spade Hello Darling Correspondence Set

My name is Steph and I have a stationery problem. For a girl who works in digital, I’m unnaturally obsessed with all things paper. Take a peek into my desk drawers and you’ll find no fewer than 5 sets of note cards & thank you notes, not to mention precious notebooks. Yes, I was that girl who spent $200 on back-to-school supplies each year. I’ve always wanted a Kate Spade correspondence set and when the Hello Darling set came out I ordered it immediately. The set contains 5 types of cards (3 foldover and 2 note, 4 of each) plus envelopes and will run you $30. The cards are accented with gold foil (a favourite of mine if you haven’t noticed) and are made of a weighty cardstock. Keep them on hand for all your note-writing needs!

Miranda Lambert Platinum Album

Another confession – I listen almost exclusively to country music. Shocking, I know. I’ve been listening to Miranda Lambert’s new album on repeat since it came out and I’m just about ready to name it my favourite album of the summer. I love every song on the album which is usually a pretty tough thing to say. Each song is punctuated with Miranda’s punchy style and has catchy lyrics you can’t help but belt out. Listen to it on YouTube then pick it up on iTunes to jam the rest of the summer away.

Which item on the list this week will you be picking up?
