Weekly Enabler Report + giveaway!

TGIF! It’s been a little while since I shared an enabler report with you, but that’s not for lack of product love or shopping. I’ve had a little too much of both recently but unfortunately too little time to share them! This week’s items are major favourites that I’ve been using obsessively. Yes, all of them. You know the things you love so much that you just want to enjoy them every single day? That. As a bonus, you’ll be able to win two of these items to enjoy at the end of the post!

Ash Large Hex + Kate Spade Mini Bouquet Collar Necklaces

Brika Ash Large Hex Necklace blush & goldKate Spade Mini Bouquet Necklace

We’ll just call this double enabling karma. I fell prey to Brika’s Facebook ads and just had to have this blush & gold Ash Large Hexagon Necklace and then spotted this Kate Spade Mini Bouquet Bib Necklace on Instagram and rushed out to buy it the next week. The blush & gold hexagon necklace by Ash is handpainted and so delicate – it’s the perfect little piece when you’re looking for something dainty. It makes the perfect addition to a relaxed tank and also looks adorable peeking out from a button-down shirt or chambray.

The Kate Spade Mini Bouquet Collar Necklace is the complete opposite: an utter showstopper for any and all outfits. I’ve been wearing it nonstop since it makes any outfit – even my $15 J. Crew factory jersey tank dress – look like you put major effort into it. It’s the kind of necklace that sends people – like Toronto wedding planner Crystal Adair-Benning – rushing off to buy one of their own even though it’s an investment at $298. Apologies in advance.

Kate Spade 2015 Agendas

Kate Spade 2015 Agendas Indigo

I’ve been raving about these Kate Spade 18-month agendas for a full year now. It all started with a serious frenzy to find the Gold Dots planner last fall – the team at Indigo was kind enough to track one down for me and put it on hold after they sold out literally everywhere. The planner ($36) is back this year in four styles – Bookshelf, Ikat, Black Stripe & Gold Dots.  – and two sizes, large & small. I’ve already picked up a large but might have to grab a small to tote from home to work. My choice this year? Bookshelf! I love the nerdy-chic motif that reminds me of my antique book-collecting fiance. What I love most about these planners – aside from the durability and gorgeousness – is the fact that they have a monthly calendar view and an amazing weekly view. You can see your month at-a-glance then flip to your week-at-a-glance for more detail. Each month is also kicked off with a fun quote for an extra dose of inspiration. WIN ONE at the end of this post!

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Cream & Serum

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum Cream Review

My hydration woes are a constant feature on the blog. I have severely dehydrated skin and I’m always looking for a new way to boost my moisture levels. I’ve found a new skin BFF in the Vichy Aqualia Thermal skincare line, especially the Aqualia Thermal Light & Rich creams, Night Spa and the Aqualia Thermal Serum ($42). Yes, I love them all. My skin absolutely drinks up this line. I’ve been using the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum religiously since receiving it and my skin has never been more supple. Even in the muggy heat we’ve been experiencing in Toronto, I don’t get that awkwardly sweaty skin that you’re left with after using some humidity-inducing serums. Pick it up exclusively at drugstores across Canada.

WIN a bottle of Vichy Aqualia Serum at the end of this post!

Casual Friday Caffeine Cupcakes Chanel tee

Casual Friday champagne caffeine cupcakes chanel tee

I found this little tee a few weeks ago while on the hunt for the perfect dress for my cousin Andrea’s wedding. After having zero luck at any of my Bloor St. shops, I reverted to some old standbys from my high school days: Want Boutique and Madeline’s Boutique, both on Avenue Rd. While I didn’t find my dress at Want (I bought two – a Tadashi & a Theia – at Madeline’s) I couldn’t leave with out this perfect tee by Casual Friday. Soft, adorable, 100% of my favourite things.

Lash Extensions by Shawna at Me & T Studio

Me & T Studio Toronto eyelash extensions review

Yes, more lash extensions. I feel like I’ve tried so many places in the city already, but I think I’ve found my forever home. As one of the perks for my freelance work with Me & T Studio, a new beauty boutique at Yonge & St. Clair, I received a full set of lashes from studio owner, Shawna Rao – lash mistress extraordinaire. It’s been a week and I’m still madly in love and lushly fringed. The difference between Shawna and other shops in the city? She applies a lash to every single adult lash on each eye for a flat fee of $175. You’re going to be lying down on her memory foam table for a few hours, but it’s worth every second. Get 20% off all new lash sets & fills on Thursdays & Fridays in July & August!
